TOS Announces New Executive Director

Brian Baker has retired in June after serving as the Executive Director of the Tennessee Orthopaedic Society for the past five years. TOS has seen significant grown in membership and has gained voice in the halls of the state legislature under his leadership.

Mike Crosby of Nashville has assumed Mr. Baker’s role as the new Executive Director. Mr. Crosby has more than 25 years of experience in proven leadership with provider organizations, including hospitals, physicians and physician groups, and with physician practice management companies. He has been working with physicians in evaluating operational concerns and providing solutions yielding positive returns and improved cash flow. His leadership has been highly successful in each engagement as Mr. Crosby strives to work closely with the physician leadership to accomplish goals and incentives.

Mr. Crosby has a Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration in Accounting from Belmont University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Jack C. Massey Graduate School of Business. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of the Medical Group Management Association.

When he is not working with physicians, Mr. Crosby enjoys cycling and spending time with his wife and three daughters.
