Prior Authorization Survey on Behalf of AANS

Prior Authorization Survey on Behalf of AANS

Dr. David Cannon of the Campbell Clinic in Memphis has ask for TOS membership participation in the following survey. This group is looking to compile data which could be used to work on reducing the Prior Authorization issues surgeons are facing today. We would appreciate you taking time to complete via the link included below.
We will have access to this data once the survey is completed.
Prior Authorization Survey
A number of national physician specialty organizations are working together to reduce regulatory burdens so physicians can spend more time with patients. Prior authorization (PA) reform is one of our top priorities as health insurers continue to create significant barriers for patients to medically necessary care through their overuse of PA. To help in our education and advocacy activities, we need additional, updated data. We are hoping to have a strong showing from across the physician community, particularly as we get geared up for new legislative sessions — at the state and federal levels.
